School Profile


The Bangladesh School, Bahrain is dedicated to provide basic school education from kindergarten to higher secondary to children of Bangladeshi parents in Bahrain with focus on their academic achievements and personal development in a safe and comfortable environment in which every student discovers and realizes his/her potential.


The School aims to be one of the recognized expatriate schools with excellence in education and dedication to producing world citizenship.


The school has employed a multi – national and multi – cultural faculty and staff from Bangladesh, India, Sri Lanka and Pakistan. The school is looking forward to employ qualified Bahraini and Arab nationals as well.


The day-to-day operation of school is looked after by a full time Principal and a team of middle management that includes Vice Principals and Coordinators.

The school is managed by an 11-member Managing Committee, elected every 3 year by the popular vote of parents. The elected body plays a vital role in the development and long term interests of the School.


As mentioned elsewhere, the school follows the National Curriculum of Bangladesh from Grade 1 to 12. The British International Curriculum is followed as an option from Grade 6 to 10 . The Kindergarten section follows a general curriculum.

Students who follow National Curriculum of Bangladesh sit for board exams at the completion of Grade 5, 8, 10 and 12 conducted by the National Curriculum and Textbook Board, Dhaka
